Leilão de geração de energia para Roraima movimenta R$ 1,62 bilhão

O leilão para fornecimento de energia para Roraima, realizado nesta sexta-feira, dia 31, movimentou R$ 1,62 bilhão em investimentos para contratar uma potência nominal de 293,8 megawatts. Os preços ficaram entre R$ 670 e R$ 1.059,17 para o valor pago pelo megawatt/ hora (MWh).

Ao todo, nove empreendimentos se habilitaram para fornecer energia para Boa Vista e outras localidades conectadas. Entre as geradoras, oito vão ter contratos de 15 anos por trabalharem com gás natural ou fontes renováveis. A Uniagro vai oferecer eletricidade a partir de quatro plantas de biomassa de resíduos de madeira.
