Mandioca: clima seco limita avanço da colheita, diz Cepea

Tubérculo fechou a última semana com média nominal a prazo em R$ 436,48 a tonelada, alta de 1% ante à semana anterior

O clima seco continuou limitando o avanço da colheita de mandioca na última semana, na maioria das regiões acompanhadas pelo Cepea.

Ao mesmo tempo, considerando a rentabilidade atual – mais comprometida em alguns casos –, parte dos produtores passou a limitar a comercialização, conforme apontam pesquisadores do Cepea.

Juntos, esses fatores deram sustentação aos preços da matéria-prima. Entre 8 e 12 de abril, a média nominal a prazo da tonelada de mandioca posta fecularia foi de R$ 436,48 (R$ 0,7591 por grama de amido), alta de 1% em relação à da semana anterior.

Comparado a igual período do ano passado, porém, o valor é 49,2% menor, em termos reais (deflacionamento pelo IGP-DI).
