A Receita Federal (RF) deflagrou na quarta-feira (13) a 3ª fase da Operação Dagon, desarticulando um esquema de sonegação de Imposto de Renda por produtores rurais.

A ação concentra-se em empresas conhecidas como “noteiras”, sediadas em Goiás, que emitiam notas fiscais eletrônicas falsas de insumos agrícolas.

A fraude fiscal ocorreu nos estados de Goiás e Bahia e foi identificada pela Receita Federal em 2019. O esquema de sonegação movimentou um total de R$ 2,2 bilhões entre junho de 2019 e dezembro de 2022, resultando em um prejuízo estimado em R$ 550 milhões para os cofres públicos.
