Os produtores devem destruir restos das lavouras para evitar pragas em plantações futuras

O vazio sanitário do algodão começou nesta segunda-feira, dia 1, no estado de Mato Grosso. Período em que é preciso manter limpa de qualquer resto de plantio do algodão.

Além disso, a medida sanitária é utilizada para evitar as chamadas “ponte verdes”, e dificultar o aparecimento de possíveis pragas nas plantações futuras.

O diretor-executivo do Instituto Mato Grossense do Algodão (IMAMT) reforçou a importância da medida.
