Combustíveis: estados devem dificultar tramitação de projeto sobre ICMS

Mesmo sem apoio dos governadores, o presidente Jair Bolsonaro afirma que o PL está pronto e quer enviá-lo ao Congresso

O presidente da República, Jair Bolsonaro, reconheceu que os governadores devem dificultar a tramitação do projeto de lei para mudar as regras do Imposto sobre Circulação de Mercadorias e Serviços (ICMS) sobre combustíveis, mas que está disposto a enviar o texto ao Congresso mesmo assim.

Bolsonaro afirmou que a proposta está pronta com o ministro de Minas e Energia, Bento Albuquerque, e que ele ainda mantém reuniões com o setor para ajustes.

O comentarista Benedito Rosa explica que o ICMS é a maior fonte de recurso dos estados. A alteração seria prejudicial para as unidades federativas que já estão em dívida. “É um projeto de lei que deveria ser tratado no âmbito da PEC Paralela e não independentemente”, conclui.
