O Programa Mangalarga Marchador TV, exibido neste domingo, dia 6, no Canal Rural, mostrou a 6ª etapa do projeto Caminhos do Marchador desta temporada, que volta a Itabira, em Minas Gerais, para refazer o trajeto por onde passaram tropeiros que ajudaram a desbravar o Brasil. Também foi ao ar uma matéria com um empresário do setor calçadista que comprou um marchador, se encantou pela raça, e hoje, cinco anos depois, é dono de uma tropa de 160 animais.
