Chuva faz nível do Guaíba voltar a subir em Porto Alegre

Nesta quarta-feira (2), às 9h30, a marca de 2,72 metros foi atingida na estação da Usina do Gasômetro

As chuvas registradas na região de Porto Alegre nas últimas semanas fizeram com que o nível das águas do Rio Guaíba voltasse a subir. A alta foi de 51 centímetros em aproximadamente dois dias.

Nesta quarta-feira (2), às 9h30, foi atingida a marca de 2,72 metros na estação da Usina do Gasômetro. Na segunda-feira (30), às 8h15, o nível estava em 2,21 metros. Os dados são da Agência Nacional de Águas e Saneamento Básico (ANA).

O nível de alerta para inundação é de 3,15 metros, e o nível de inundação da cidade é de 3,60 metros. O pico da cheia ocorrida em maio de 2024 foi de 5,35 metros.

A elevação, no entanto, não deverá continuar a ocorrer nos próximos dias.

A Defesa Civil do estado prevê tempo firme em todas as regiões do estado nesta quinta-feira (3), o que deverá impedir que o nível do Guaíba volte a aumentar.
