Agrônomo Felipe Pires de Camargo assume a função executiva

O Instituto de Economia Agrícola (IEA), ligado à Secretaria de Agricultura do Estado de São Paulo, tem novo diretor-geral: Felipe Pires de Camargo, conforme nota enviada nesta segunda-feira, 13, pelo governo estadual. Camargo é engenheiro agrônomo formado pela Unesp e mestre em planejamento e gestão do território pela Universidade Federal do ABC (UFABC) e trabalha no IEA há 19 anos.

Ainda conforme a nota, o novo diretor-geral pretende atualizar metodologias de análise de dados e participar ativamente do ecossistema de inovação adotado pela Agência Paulista de Tecnologia do Agronegócio (Apta), à qual o IEA também é vinculado.

Isso, segundo ele, permitirá “fomentar o trabalho em conjunto com startups no desenvolvimento de pesquisas e novas tecnologias, firmar parcerias estratégicas, tecnificar e modernizar o fornecimento de informação e inteligência para o agro paulista, além de proporcionar maior integração nos centros de informação e estatística”, diz.
