O candidato Evandro Leitão (PT) venceu a disputa para a prefeitura de Fortaleza (CE), com 50,37% dos votos válidos. Ele disputou o segundo turno com André Fernandes (PL) que até o momento teve 49,63% dos votos válidos. Até agora foram apurados 99,60% das urnas.

Evandro Leitão, do PT, tem 57 anos e está em seu terceiro mandato consecutivo de deputado estadual. Servidor público de carreira, é auditor adjunto da Secretaria da Fazenda do Estado do Ceará. É formado em ciências econômicas pela Universidade de Fortaleza (Unifor) e em direito pela Faculdade Integrada do Ceará (FIC).
