Sebastião Melo (MDB) foi reeleito para prefeitura de Porto Alegre (RS) neste domingo (27). Com 89,52% das urnas apuradas, Sebastião Melo fez 61,43% dos votos e Maria do Rosário (PT), 38,57 %.

Melo é advogado e já foi vice-prefeito da capital gaúcha de 2013 a 2016, durante a gestão de José Fortunati.

Em 2018, foi eleito deputado estadual no Rio Grande do Sul. Em 2020, assumiu a prefeitura de Porto Alegre.
