Nesta sexta-feira (4), Brasília bateu o recorde histórico de seca, com 164 dias sem chuvas, superando em um dia o recorde anterior, que era de 1963.

O Instituto Nacional de Meteorologia (Inmet) acionou o alerta laranja – de perigo – para baixa umidade no Distrito Federal (DF) com previsão de 15% nas horas mais quentes.

Além do DF, o instituto também registrou o alerta de seca em sete estados:

  • Goiás;
  • Piauí;

Um levantamento do Instituto Nacional de Pesquisas Espaciais (Inpe) constatou aumento de 269% nos focos de incêndio no Distrito Federal este ano, com 75 mil em setembro.

O Inmet recomenda que a população beba mais líquidos e evite atividades físicas e exposição ao sol nas horas mais quentes do dia, das 10h às 16h. Também é importante que as pessoas intensifiquem o uso de hidratantes e umidifiquem os ambientes.
